Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 2-day assignment in California, starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves 8-hour shifts, focusing on comprehensive family care, chronic condition management, and wellness for a diverse patient population, including the Medi-Cal community, with a typical patient load of 25-30 per day. Duties include patient visits, screenings, vaccinations, and acute care procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct patient visits, including checkups, screenings, and vaccinations.
  • Provide lab follow-up and manage prescriptions.
  • Manage family care, chronic condition management, and wellness for patients of all ages.
  • Serve rural health patients, including the Medi-Cal community, Medicare patients, and those with Imperial Health Insurance (IEHP).
  • Perform acute care procedures such as suturing, splinting, reading EKGs and X-rays, treating nosebleeds, and conducting biopsies.
  • Manage a patient load of approximately 25-30 per day.
