Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our client's team in Massachusetts. This 60-day assignment commences on Jul 27, 2026, with a schedule of 8:00am-5:00pm. The role focuses on providing comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and pediatric patients, diagnosing and managing acute and chronic conditions, and performing routine wellness exams.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to adult and pediatric patients
  • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and URI presentations
  • Perform routine wellness exams, preventive screenings, and annual physicals
  • Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic tests
  • Prescribe medications and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
  • Perform minor in office procedures such as suturing, lesion removal, and joint injections as applicable
  • Collaborate with integrated behavioral health, dental, and care coordination teams
  • Document encounters accurately in the EMR and complete charts in a timely manner
  • Educate patients on disease management, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications
  • Participate in team huddles and coordinate referrals to specialists when needed
  • Manage upper respiratory infections and seasonal viral illnesses
  • Address asthma exacerbations and allergy related conditions
  • Oversee hypertension, diabetes, and other chronic disease management visits
  • Treat minor injuries including lacerations, sprains, and simple fractures from outdoor activity
  • Evaluate dermatologic concerns including rashes, sunburns, and suspicious skin lesions
  • Handle gastrointestinal complaints such as dehydration, gastritis, and viral GI illness
  • Conduct routine physicals, Medicare wellness visits, and preventive screenings
  • Perform Women’s health visits including Pap smears and contraceptive management
  • Provide behavioral health related primary care visits including anxiety and depression management
