Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 48-day assignment in Virginia, starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves a Monday to Saturday schedule, focusing on essential duties such as performing physical exams, ordering diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing comprehensive treatment plans for acute and chronic illnesses.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform physical exams and health assessments.
  • Order or perform diagnostic tests to aid in patient care.
  • Prescribe medications and manage treatment regimens.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Treat acute and chronic illnesses in a family practice setting.
  • Manage a variety of family practice cases, including colds, coughs, hypertension, UTIs, STIs, and sports physicals.
  • Address urgent care type visits, which may include lacerations, minor injuries, trauma, suturing, and ingrown toenail removal.
  • Provide women’s health services, such as Pap smears, on occasion.
