Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an 84-day assignment in Washington, starting Jun 29, 2026. This role involves working 12-hour shifts for three days a week, focusing on comprehensive family practice care within a sole practitioner clinic setting. You will manage a diverse patient panel, providing follow-up visits, new patient consultations, acute care, and routine health maintenance, including management of chronic conditions.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide patient care during 12-hour shifts, 7 AM to 7 PM, three days a week.
  • Dedicate 7 AM to 6 PM to clinic time and 6 PM to 7 PM to administrative tasks.
  • Serve as a sole practitioner in a family practice clinic.
  • Conduct follow-up visits, new patient visits, and address acute needs.
  • Manage common acute illnesses such as colds, coughs, and flu.
  • Perform physical examinations and routine visits.
  • Oversee chronic conditions including diabetes and hypertension.
  • Care for an established patient population, some of whom may have had a provider on extended leave, as well as new and unestablished patients.
