Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for our client in Alabama, commencing on Jun 1, 2026, for a 364-day assignment. This role involves providing comprehensive direct and indirect medical care, formulating diagnoses, implementing treatment plans, and responding to medical emergencies. Shifts are scheduled from 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM, focusing on typical urgent care and family practice cases, including minor procedures such as suturing and I&Ds.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of patients within the facility.
  • Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens.
  • Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment.
  • Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients.
  • Manage typical urgent care and family practice cases, including conditions ranging from minor injuries to sore throats.
  • Perform basic procedures such as suturing and incision and drainage (I&Ds).
