Our client in California is actively seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment starting May 18, 2026. This full-time role involves daily shifts from 8:30a to 5p, focusing on providing primary care within an FQHC setting, managing rural health aspects, and handling a high volume of diverse patient complaints efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health needs.
- Manage a high volume of patients, up to 22 per day, within 15-minute appointment slots.
- Handle various patient complaints, including cold, cough, and flu.
- Care for patients aged 18 and older, including a significant Spanish-speaking population and Medical/Medicaid patients.
