Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for an 80-day assignment in Nevada, starting Sep 14, 2026. This role involves Monday - Friday office coverage from 8am to 5pm at a busy main location, seeing patients of all ages. The Physician Assistant will handle a variety of cases, including chronic conditions and acute issues, and perform procedures such as suturing and joint injections, within a supportive team environment. A large Hispanic population is served, making Spanish fluency a plus.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide Monday - Friday office coverage at a busy main location.
  • Manage a diverse patient population of all ages, with a focus on comprehensive family practice.
  • Collaborate with 4 APPs and 4 MDs, with additional physicians starting in the fall.
  • Handle cases including cough, cold, flu, hypertension, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV lines, joint injections, IUD (including Nexplanon) insertion, toenail removal, and Pap smears.
  • Care for patients with multiple complex conditions.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
  • Spanish fluency is a significant advantage due to the large Hispanic patient population.
