Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician for a 120-day assignment in Louisiana, starting May 11, 2026. This role offers a Monday through Friday schedule with varying hours, focusing on providing comprehensive care to all ages in a community health setting. The Physician will manage general family medicine cases, ensuring high patient satisfaction and quality of care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Comfortably work with patients of all ages within a community health setting.
  • Manage a wide range of common, or bread and butter, family medicine cases.
  • Prioritize patient satisfaction and maintain high standards of quality care.
  • Provide care for conditions such as cold, cough, flu, hypertension, and COPD.
  • Conduct basic women's health exams, physicals, and wellness exams.
  • Perform physicals, consultations, and general family medicine services for a diverse adult population and students.
  • Utilize an efficient internal referral system for specialists such as Psychologists and Podiatrists, and external medical expertise when necessary.
  • Collaborate with support staff including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Nursing Care Assistants.

  • Shift hours include Monday and Thursday from 8a-5p, Tuesday from 10a-7p, Wednesday from 8a-7p, and Friday from 8a-2p.
