Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Gastroenterology Physician for a 90-day assignment in Arkansas, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves providing 5 days per week of essential outpatient clinic and procedural coverage, including high-risk screening colonoscopies, inpatient add-ons, and performing ERCPs to meet a significant community need.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide 5 days per week of outpatient clinic and procedures, fulfilling a critical community need.
  • Perform 4 high-risk outpatient screening colonoscopies daily, including inpatient add-ons.
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP (endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography).
  • Perform Upper GI endoscopy, including biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeders, and injection of varices.
  • Execute Esophageal dilatation and manometry.
  • Perform Small Bowel biopsies.
  • Conduct Lower GI endoscopy, including flexible sigmoidoscopy and colonoscopy with biopsy or polyp excision.
  • Manage insertion and management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tubes.
