Locum Tenens Physician - General Diagnostic Radiology Needed in CA

Job Description

Our client in California is seeking a General Diagnostic Radiology Physician for a 30-day assignment starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves a diverse schedule including variable day shifts (9a-6p), evening shifts (3p-12a or 5p-12a), and remote weekend evening shifts (3p-12a or 5p-12a). The Physician will primarily perform MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films, with a focus on CT and plain films, and an ideal candidate would be a body imager comfortable with prostate reads.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and plain films.
• Concentrate on CT and plain film interpretations.
• Manage cases specifically excluding nuclear medicine, cardiac, and breast imaging.
• Ability to perform prostate reads is preferred.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology is required.
• Experience with Epic EMR system.
• Available shifts include variable day shifts from 9a-6p (8 hours), evening shifts from 3p-12a (9 hours) or 5p-12a, and remote weekend evening shifts from 3p-12a (9 hours) or 5p-12a.
