Job Description

Our client in Arizona is seeking a Geriatrics Physician for a 30-day assignment starting Jun 15, 2026. This role involves caring for patients, meticulous coding and charting, and utilizing your tech-savvy skills to manage a patient panel with a strong focus on preventative medicine, aiming to minimize hospitalizations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive care to geriatric patients.
• Accurately code and chart all patient encounters.
• Leverage technology for efficient patient management.
• Implement preventative medicine strategies to reduce hospitalizations.
• Manage a diverse patient panel, including high-risk (15-20%), emerging-risk (10-20%), and low-risk (70-80%) geriatric cases.
• Adhere to a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications include Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
• The EMR system utilized is eClinicalWorks.
