Our client in Nevada is actively seeking a skilled Geriatrician for a 90-day locum tenens assignment, commencing Jul 13, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Friday schedule, from 8 AM to 5 PM, where you will provide comprehensive patient care, ensure accurate charting, and focus on preventative medicine with the primary goal of keeping patients out of the hospital.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive care to geriatric patients.
  • Ensure accurate coding and charting for all patient encounters.
  • Utilize strong organizational and technical skills in patient management.
  • Focus on preventative medicine strategies to maintain patient health.
  • Manage a diverse patient panel, with a strong emphasis on hospital avoidance.
  • Address standard geriatric cases, categorized into high-risk (15-20%), emerging-risk (10-20%), and low-risk (70-80%) profiles.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Geriatric Medicine, or Internal Medicine is required.
