Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist for a 75-day assignment with our client in Oregon, starting Jun 8, 2026. This role involves working Monday through Wednesday, from 8am to 6pm, to evaluate and manage oncology and hematology patients, creating and adjusting personalized treatment plans.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Hematology 30%
  • Medical Oncology 70%
  • Evaluate and manage oncology and hematology patients
  • Create and adjust personalized cancer and blood disorder treatment plans
  • Conduct new consults, second opinions, routine checkups, and follow up visits
  • Order and interpret imaging, labs, biopsies, and treatment response data
  • Oversee chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care
  • Manage acute complications like neutropenic fever or treatment-related reactions
  • Diagnose and treat anemia, coagulation issues, leukemias, lymphomas, and other hematologic conditions
  • Coordinate care with surgeons, radiation oncology, primary care, and the broader care team
  • Document accurately in the EMR and participate in interdisciplinary reviews when needed
