Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner for a 90-day assignment in Iowa, starting Jun 15, 2026. Our client is looking for a professional to manage approximately 15 patients per day, handle 1-2 new encounters per shift, and provide consults as needed. This role involves 10-hour shifts in an open ICU setting, with an assigned RN for assistance, and requires proficiency in performing central and PICC lines.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage approximately 15 patients per day
• Handle 1-2 new patient encounters per shift
• Provide consults as needed
• Collaborate with an assigned Registered Nurse for shift assistance
• Work within an open ICU environment
• Perform rounding in a ICU
• Must perform central lines and PICC lines
