Job Description

Our client in Iowa is seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician Assistant for a 3-day assignment beginning Jun 15, 2026. This role involves 10-hour shifts, focusing on patient rounding within a open ICU, managing approximately 15 patients per day, and handling 1-2 new encounters per shift. Essential duties include performing central and PICC lines in this Trauma facility, with dedicated RN support.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage approximately 15 patients per day
• Handle 1-2 new patient encounters per shift
• Provide consults as needed
• Collaborate with an assigned Registered Nurse for support during shifts
• Work within an open ICU setting
• Provide care in a Trauma facility
• Perform rounding in a ICU
• Execute central lines
• Execute PICC lines

• Board certification in Internal Medicine required
