Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine Needed in AZ

Job Description

We are actively seeking an Internal Medicine Physician for a 120-day assignment starting May 18, 2026, in Arizona. This role involves providing comprehensive internal medicine care to adult patients, managing chronic conditions, performing women's health services, and conducting annual wellness checks during standard 8 AM to 5 PM shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive internal medicine care to adult patients aged 18 and older.
• Manage a variety of chronic care cases including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
• Address acute conditions such as colds, coughs, and flu.
• Perform women's health services, including IUD insertions, Pap smears, and annual well checks.
• Engage in pain management.
• Facilitate appropriate patient referrals when necessary.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine is required.
• Experience with Meditech EHR system.
