Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Neonatologist for an urgent 30-day assignment in Mississippi, beginning May 1, 2026. The incoming Physician will manage 3-5 pediatric and neonatal patients per shift within an emergency department and NICU environment. Responsibilities include performing specialized procedures and attending high-risk deliveries, ensuring critical patient care in a dynamic setting.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage non-invasive and invasive ventilation for newborns and pediatric patients (e.g., neo-puff, ETT, BiPAP/CPAP).
  • Perform various procedures including central line, arterial line, UVC, UAC, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, chest tube insertion, and needle pneumothorax decompression.
  • Conduct X-ray and EKG interpretations, and suture minor lacerations.
  • Provide care in a Level III/NICU setting.
  • Utilize nitric oxide (iNO) and perform exchange transfusions.
  • Place hemodialysis catheters and manage acute volume/blood pressure issues.
  • Attend high-risk C-sections.


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine required.
