Locum Tenens Physician - Neurological Surgeon Needed in OH

Job Description

We are seeking a Neurological Surgeon for a 5-day assignment in Ohio, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves 24-hour call coverage from 7a-7a for emergency cases at a Trauma Center. The Physician will be responsible for a low volume of 0-6 cases per week, focusing on both spinal and cranial procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide 24-hour call coverage for emergency cases.
• Work within a Trauma Center.
• Manage a low volume of 0-6 cases per week, focusing on emergent cases only.
• Perform spinal cases (60%) and cranial cases (40%).
• Conduct procedures such as Laminectomy, Spinal fusion, Spinal Stabilization, and Craniotomy.
• Tumor removal and aneurysm clipping are optional.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Neurological Surgery is required.
• Experience with the Epic EMR system.
