Job Description

We are seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for an 80-day assignment in Georgia, starting May 28, 2026. This role involves inpatient coverage with call, focusing on 10-hour workdays, and may include weekend call coverage and some clinic hours to support women's services.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide inpatient coverage with call
  • Manage a census of 10-15 patients including actively laboring patients, postpartum, gynecology, and floor consults
  • Address low risk and high risk pregnancies
  • Perform FHR interpretation and OB ultrasound
  • Conduct procedures such as Amniocentesis, C-sections, and manage Breech and Multiple births
  • Handle Abruptions and VBACs
  • Repair 3rd and 4th degree lacerations
  • Provide office/minor gynecology services including IUD insertion, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP procedures
  • Potentially provide Saturday office coverage from 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Work 10-hour shifts, not necessarily on consecutive days, and may include weekend call


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Epic training is required and can only be completed after credentialing, before the assignment begins
