Job Description

We are actively seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 60-day assignment with our client in Maryland. This role is set to begin on Jun 15, 2026, offering a consistent schedule of Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm and Fridays from 8am to 12pm. The Physician will be responsible for a range of critical procedures including colposcopy, IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, and biopsies, alongside providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care for diverse patient needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform colposcopy, IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, and biopsies.
  • Provide comprehensive pregnancy care, from pre-conception counseling through delivery and postpartum care.
  • Conduct ultrasounds, quad screenings, and MaterniT21 testing.
  • Offer general wellness counseling and perform annual well-woman exams including pap smears.
  • Perform breast exams and mammograms.
  • Provide family planning services, including education, exams, and prescriptions for birth control.
  • Offer permanent birth control options and long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs).
  • Test for and treat female infections, including urinary tract infections and sexually transmitted diseases.
  • Evaluate, treat, and manage gynecologic problems such as fibroids and abnormal bleeding.
  • Manage pre- and post-menopausal conditions and hormone-replacement therapy.
