Job Description

Our client in Colorado is seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant for an 18-day assignment starting Jul 3, 2026. This role involves providing essential occupational health services, including DOT physicals, evaluating and treating workplace injuries, and conducting pre-employment and fit-for-duty exams. The schedule is typically 8 AM to 5 PM.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform DOT physicals and FMCSA certifications
  • Evaluate and treat workplace injuries
  • Conduct workers’ compensation follow-ups and provide return-to-work clearance
  • Perform pre-employment and fit-for-duty examinations
  • Complete necessary employer and DOT documentation
  • Provide basic urgent care and occupational medicine visits
  • Manage common occupational musculoskeletal injuries of the neck, back, and extremities
  • Address work-related injuries to the head, chest, abdomen, and extremities
  • Treat work-related lacerations and non-penetrating eye injuries
  • Manage occupational skin conditions and respiratory symptoms
