Job Description

We are seeking an Occupational Medicine Physician Assistant for a 13-day remote assignment with our client in New York, beginning May 4, 2026. This role involves helping a law firm's Leave of Absence team by evaluating various employee requests, including FMLA, disability, and ADA, and making determinations. The schedule requires at least 4 hours per week.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate Agile Work Arrangement (AWA) and ADA requests, and return-to-work with restrictions notes.
  • Make determinations on employee requests including FMLA, disability, short term leave, and remote work.
  • Collaborate primarily with the Leave of Absence (LOA) Team.
  • Meet with employees for further evaluation into requests at your discretion.
  • Prioritize and address a current backlog of requests.
  • Work remotely, with information transmitted via Secure File Transfer.
  • No requirement to complete forms such as FMLA and disability paperwork.
