Job Description

We are seeking a Pain Management Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in California, starting May 25, 2026. This role involves a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule, focusing on comprehensive patient evaluations, pain assessments, treatment planning, medication management, and patient education within a dynamic clinical setting.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct patient evaluations, including history and physical examinations
  • Perform pain assessments and utilize functional scales
  • Review imaging such as MRI, CT, and X-rays
  • Develop diagnoses and comprehensive treatment plans for patients with chronic spine pain, radiculopathy, degenerative joint conditions, post-surgical pain, and neuropathic syndromes
  • Manage patient medications, including opioids
  • Educate patients on their pain management plans
  • Monitor compliance through urine drug screens and treatment agreements
  • Ensure thorough documentation and EMR charting
  • Provide follow-up care and reassessments
