Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Needed in PA

Job Description

We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a 30-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Aug 1, 2026. This role involves 12-hour shifts, either AM or PM, within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, focusing on acute care responsibilities and performing procedures such as arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide acute care within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit
• Demonstrate experience with arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement
• Perform endotracheal intubation
• Conduct lumbar punctures
• Manage a patient load of 4-8 patients per APP
• Collaborate with a team of 4 APPs during day shifts and 3 APPs during night shifts
