Locum Tenens Physician - Hematologist/Oncologist Needed in WV

Job Description

Our client in West Virginia is seeking a skilled Hematologist/Oncologist Physician to begin a 90-day assignment on Jun 18, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care across specific day shifts, including managing outpatient clinics, covering the infusion center, and handling inpatient consults, with a focus on procedures such as lumbar punctures and bone marrow biopsies.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide coverage for outpatient clinics, seeing 4-8 patients per clinic.
• Manage infusion center coverage, attending to 5-10 patients per week.
• Handle inpatient consults.
• Perform special procedures including lumbar punctures (LP) and bone marrow biopsies (bx).

Additional Information

• Board certification in Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Pediatrics required.
• Experience with Cerner EMR.
