Locum Tenens Physician - Pediatric Surgeon Needed in NJ

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Surgeon for a 7-day assignment with our client in New Jersey, commencing May 21, 2026. This crucial role involves comprehensive on call coverage, with specific shifts from 8am on May 21 to 8am on May 26, and 5pm on May 26 to 8am on May 27. The successful physician will be responsible for operating on and rounding on patients in the hospital, while covering call remotely for the remaining duration of the assignment, with no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide on call coverage without outpatient clinics.
• Operate on patients as needed.
• Round on patients in the hospital as required.
• Cover call from home or hotel for the remainder of the assignment time.
• Work schedule includes 8am May 21 - 8am May 26 and 5pm May 26 - 8am May 27.

• Board Certification in Pediatric Surgery required.
