Job Description

We are actively seeking a Physician specializing in Pediatrics for a 96-day assignment in Oregon, commencing Jul 6, 2026. This vital role features a clinic schedule from 9 AM to 5 PM, complemented by rotating call responsibilities that include attending deliveries, rounding on newborns, and managing after-hours patient inquiries. The Physician will deliver comprehensive care, addressing a mix of well-child checks, acute visits, and behavioral health management across a diverse patient population.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage a patient load of 13–15 per day on call days and approximately 20 patients per day on non-call days in a clinic setting.
  • Provide a blend of well-child checks, acute visits, and behavioral/ADHD management for patients from newborn through 17 years old.
  • Conduct typical visit lengths of 20- and 40-minute appointments.
  • Perform inpatient and newborn nursery duties during call coverage, including daily newborn nursery census of 1–5 babies.
  • Handle rare inpatient pediatric admissions, typically involving older adolescents.
  • Attend deliveries only when indicated by OB/FBC staff or high-risk criteria.
  • Address after-hours parent calls, averaging 0–10 per night, with higher volume in winter months.
