Job Description
Our client in Massachusetts is seeking a Psychiatrist for a 2-day assignment starting May 14, 2026. This Physician will provide essential support by following up with Nurse Practitioners on medication logs and documentation, assisting with patient intakes and consults, and acting as an interim medical director through collaborative efforts. The role requires availability for up to 10 hours of collaboration, including participation in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Follow up with Nurse Practitioners on medication logs and documentation.
- Be available for phone call and email support to Nurse Practitioners and Registered Nurses between 9am-5pm.
- Assist with patient intakes and consults.
- Serve as an interim medical director, which involves collaboration and a few required meetings.
- Care for patients within a clinical stabilization service unit, with an average patient stay of 10-14 days.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings held on Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm EST.
- Be available for up to 10 hours of collaboration per contract.
