Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine Needed in TX

Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Physician to join their team for a 20-day assignment starting on Sep 4, 2026, in Texas. This role involves an intensive 7am - 7am in-house schedule, focusing on critical care and pulmonary cases. The successful Physician will manage a wide array of complex conditions, including trauma, burns, cardiac and respiratory failure, and perform various critical and pulmonary procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• See patients in a Critical Care/Pulmonary setting.
• Manage trauma cases.
• Provide care for burn patients.
• Perform temporary pacemaker procedures.
• Conduct pulmonary function testing.
• Perform bronchoscopy procedures.
• Manage critical conditions including cardiac arrest/failure, respiratory arrest/failure, sepsis, metabolic disorders, renal failure, OD/Poisoning, drowning, and pre- and post-operative cases.
• Perform critical and pulmonary procedures as required.
