Job Description

Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Radiation Oncology Physician Assistant for an impactful 60-day assignment, commencing May 25, 2026. This vital role involves 9a-6p shifts, where you will provide comprehensive support within the Radiation Oncology Department, assisting with new patient consultations, follow-ups, and various aspects of treatment and recovery protocols.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Treatment visits
• Follow-up appointments
• Consultations
• Assist with radiation therapy workflows
• Support brachytherapy procedures and recovery
• Assist with treatment setup alongside radiation nurses/therapists
• Support external beam radiation workflow
• Use of fluoroscopy (as needed within scope)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology team
