Locum Tenens Physician - Rheumatologist Needed in CA

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician - Rheumatologist for a 240-day assignment in California, commencing Sep 7, 2026. This role primarily involves Monday through Friday outpatient clinic coverage from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with an optional every 3rd week call schedule. The Physician will manage an established panel of patients, focusing on follow-up care, joint aspirations, injections, and comprehensive rheumatology services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Outpatient clinic coverage
• Manage an established patient panel, primarily follow-up cases
• Perform joint aspirations and injections
• Address vasculitis
• Conduct Arthrocentesis
• Perform Tissue biopsy
• Evaluate Microscopic specimens
• Conduct Diagnostic/therapeutic taps

• Board Certification: Internal Medicine and Rheumatology
• EMR: Epic
• Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM. Night/weekend call is an option every 3rd week.
