Job Description

We are seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 200-day assignment starting Sep 7, 2026, in California. The schedule involves shifts from 4pm-2am, with an expectation to see patients for 9 out of 10 scheduled hours. This role focuses on fast-track emergency medicine, providing strong support for managing cases such as basic lacerations, I&D abscess, sore throat, ear infection, and other low acuity patients, while emphasizing member retention and satisfaction.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide fast-track emergency medicine care with strong support.
  • See patients for 9 hours during 10-hour scheduled shifts.
  • Manage a variety of low acuity cases, including basic lacerations, I&D abscesses, sore throats, and ear infections.
  • Focus on member retention and maintaining patient satisfaction.
  • Adapt to seasonal variations in patient volume and case mix, such as higher cold and flu cases in winter and more sprains or minor injuries in summer.
  • Commit to showing up on time and delivering high-quality clinical care.
  • Offer strong customer service and proactively address any issues that may arise.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medicine is required.
