Locum Tenens Physician Assistant - Surgery - Urology Needed in CA

Job Description

We are seeking a Urology Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment with our client in California, starting Jun 22, 2026. This role involves comprehensive urology clinic work, primarily focused on new patient consultations, diagnosing common urological issues such as hydrocele, flank pain, and UTIs, with typical shift hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide clinical urology care.
• Conduct new patient consultations, often single-visit, involving prescriptions or referrals for surgery. This role does not include post-operative care or operating room duties.
• Manage follow-up appointments for existing patients.
• Address conditions such as kidney stones, bladder infections, and general urology cases.
• Diagnose and treat flank pain and hydrocele.
• This position is 100% clinic-based, with no operating room or first assist responsibilities.

Additional Information

• Shift hours are 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM.
• The electronic medical record system utilized is Epic.
