Locum Tenens Physician - OB/GYN Needed in NC

Job Description

Our client in North Carolina is seeking an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician for a 3-day assignment beginning Jul 3, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM, handling 1-2 admissions daily, out-of-house calls, and performing a range of procedures including C-sections, hysterectomies, and vaginal deliveries. The physician will work within a facility equipped with three labor rooms and 16 patient rooms.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage 1-2 admissions per day.
• Provide out of house call coverage.
• Perform procedures including C-section, hysterectomies, circumcision, pp tubal, vaginal deliveries, D&C and laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required.
• The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
• Shift hours are 7 AM to 7 AM.
• The facility features 3 labor rooms, 16 patient rooms and 6 newborn beds, supported by 2 AWHONN Fetal Monitoring instructors.
