Job Description

Our client in Pennsylvania is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician for a 12-day assignment, beginning Aug 17, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency medical care within a high-volume department that provides 24-hour physician coverage and daily APP support, handling a wide range of acute, emergent, and trauma cases across all age groups, and performing various critical procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform procedures including intubations, chest tubes, central lines, joint and fracture reductions, joint aspirations, laceration repair, and incision and drainage.
  • Provide emergency care for a diverse patient population, from pediatric to adult and geriatric, encompassing acute, emergent, and trauma cases.
  • Collaborate with and supervise advanced practice providers.
  • Manage a high-volume emergency department.
  • Coordinate patient admissions effectively with Hospitalist and Specialties Groups.
  • Note: Vent management is not required for this position.
