Job Description

We are actively seeking a dedicated Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Physician Assistant for a critical 1-day assignment with our client in Pennsylvania, commencing Oct 1, 2026. This vital role focuses on delivering comprehensive acute care within a bustling Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The successful candidate will provide essential patient management during 12-hour in-house shifts, with flexible options for either AM or PM schedules to support the unit's continuous operational needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform procedures including arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures.
  • Manage a patient load of 4-8 patients per APP within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
  • Collaborate with a team of 4 Advanced Practice Providers during day shifts and 3 during night shifts.
  • Note: ECMO experience is not a requirement for this position.
