Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 1-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Oct 1, 2026. This vital role involves providing specialized care within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, covering 12-hour in-house shifts (AM or PM). The practitioner will focus on critical care duties, including procedures like arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide specialized care within a Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit.
  • Manage a patient load of 4-8 patients per advanced practice provider.
  • Perform procedures including arterial, central venous, and chest tube placement, endotracheal intubation, and lumbar punctures.
  • Collaborate with a team of 4 APPs during the day and 3 APPs at night.
