Job Description

Our client in Oregon is seeking a dedicated Pediatrician for a 68-day assignment beginning Jul 6, 2026. This role primarily involves providing comprehensive outpatient care for infants through adolescents, including wellness exams, same-day sick visits, and diagnosing and treating common pediatric conditions. The schedule features 9-5 clinic hours with rotating call duties, potentially involving attendance at deliveries and newborn rounding.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide outpatient pediatric care for infants through adolescents
  • Conduct wellness exams and same-day sick visits
  • Diagnose and treat common pediatric conditions
  • Prescribe medications and review labs/testing
  • Educate families on preventive care and development
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
  • Complete EMR documentation and collaborate with clinic staff
  • Participate in call coverage/newborn rounding if needed


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certification: Pediatrics
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Cases include well-child visits, sick visits for various conditions, vaccinations, developmental assessments, and management of chronic pediatric conditions. Minor in-office procedures such as nebulizer treatments, rapid testing, basic wound care, and ear lavage are also involved.
  • Shift hours: 9-5 in the clinic with rotating call coverage, including attendance at deliveries and rounding on newborns when on call.
