Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiology Anesthetist for an exciting 183-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves providing anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases, with a consistent schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma cases.
  • Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia.
  • Manage neurosurgical (head, spine), thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases.
  • Oversee ventilation management and address acute volume/blood pressure issues.
  • Perform arterial line placement.
  • Provide CRNA supervision.
  • Deliver anesthesia services for procedures including general, ortho, urology, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, vascular, podiatry, EP, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy.
  • Support electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) cases.
  • Work within a trauma center environment.


Additional Information

  • Required Board Certifications: Anesthesiology; National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • EMR System: Cerner.
  • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4 X 10-hour shifts (0700-1730).
  • Patient Encounters: Approximately 2-12 per shift.
