Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesiology Anesthetist for an exciting 183-day assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Jul 1, 2026. This role involves providing anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures including general, orthopedic, and neurosurgical cases, with a consistent schedule of four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, and trauma cases.
- Perform spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia.
- Manage neurosurgical (head, spine), thoracic, complex vascular, and complex orthopedic cases.
- Oversee ventilation management and address acute volume/blood pressure issues.
- Perform arterial line placement.
- Provide CRNA supervision.
- Deliver anesthesia services for procedures including general, ortho, urology, ophthalmology, plastics, ENT, neurosurgery, vascular, podiatry, EP, endoscopy, and bronchoscopy.
- Support electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) cases.
- Work within a trauma center environment.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Anesthesiology; National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
- EMR System: Cerner.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 4 X 10-hour shifts (0700-1730).
- Patient Encounters: Approximately 2-12 per shift.
