Job Description

We are actively seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician for a 48-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Jun 10, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive emergency care in a high-volume ER setting, including managing critical care cases, responding to codes, and performing standard emergency procedures within a bustling tourist area. The successful Physician will contribute to managing a significant annual patient volume, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide emergency care in a tourist area/beach town.
  • Manage an average of 1.8 patients per hour.
  • Oversee an average inpatient census of 20.
  • Perform ICU/critical care duties.
  • Respond to codes as required.
  • Follow the hospitalist protocol for after-hours admissions.
  • Perform standard Emergency Medicine procedures.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Emergency Medical Services is required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
