Our client is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day assignment in California, starting May 18, 2026. This role involves providing primary care services within an FQHC setting, addressing a wide range of patient complaints in a rural health environment. The successful candidate will manage 8:30a-5p shifts and high patient volumes, typically seeing 22+ patients per day within 15-minute appointment slots.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive primary care within an FQHC setting, encompassing rural health aspects.
- Manage diverse patient complaints, potentially handling three or more issues per visit.
- Efficiently manage patient volumes, seeing 22 or more patients per day within 15-minute appointment gaps.
- Treat primary care patients 18 years and older, including common ailments like colds, coughs, and flu.
- Serve a patient population with a high volume of Spanish-speaking individuals and Medical/Medi-Cal patients.
