Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for an impactful 45-day assignment starting May 26, 2026, in California. The client offers a Monday to Friday schedule with a mix of in-clinic and remote telehealth hours. You will provide primary care basics in a rural FQHC setting, managing a variety of patient complaints, including typical FQHC primary care needs, and addressing rural health aspects.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive primary care services within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects.
  • Manage a diverse patient population, frequently handling three or more complaints per visit.
  • Address a wide range of common medical conditions including colds, coughs, flu, hypertension, and diabetes.
  • Deliver care to vulnerable populations, including homeless individuals and the LGBTQ community.
  • Conduct annual check-ups and manage typical primary care needs inherent to an FQHC environment.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system.
  • Schedule: Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm; Friday 8:30am – 12:30pm Telehealth; 12:30pm – 4:00pm can be done remote or in clinic.
