Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Nurse Practitioner for a 25-day assignment in New York, beginning Jun 29, 2026. This role involves managing a high volume of outpatient and community-based cases, including primary care, urgent care, and minor procedures, with daily shifts from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will provide comprehensive care, address chronic disease management, acute illnesses, and engage in team-based care within an underserved population.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide high-volume outpatient and community-based care.
  • Manage a mix of primary care, urgent care, and minor procedures.
  • Engage in team-based care, serving a diverse and often underserved population.
  • Address chronic disease management, including conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma, and hyperlipidemia.
  • Conduct physicals and manage acute sick visits for upper respiratory infections, influenza, UTIs, minor injuries, rashes, and other infections.
  • Handle basic procedures and some operational responsibilities.
  • Manage patients with behavioral health needs like depression and anxiety.
  • Provide women's health services and pediatric care, including well-child visits, vaccinations, and common childhood illnesses.
