Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day assignment with our client in California, starting May 18, 2026. This full-time role operates from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, involving comprehensive outpatient primary care. The chosen professional will manage acute care, behavioral health, substance abuse follow-up, and patients of all ages, with a strong preference for Spanish-speaking skills to support diverse patient populations including Geriatrics, Adult care, Women's health, and LGBTQIA individuals for HIV and Prep testing.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full-scope primary care in an FQHC clinic setting.
  • Deliver outpatient acute care, addressing common illnesses.
  • Conduct follow-up for behavioral health and substance abuse patients.
  • Assess and treat patients across all age groups.
  • Manage Women's health visits.
  • Perform LGBTQIA patient visits, including HIV and Prep testing.
  • Support Geriatrics and Adult care patients, with Spanish speaking skills highly preferred.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine is required.
  • Experience with Athenahealth EMR system.
  • Comfortable seeing full scope Family Practice patients of all ages.
  • Spanish speaking highly preferred.
