Job Description

Our client in California is seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 45-day assignment starting May 26, 2026. This role involves a Monday through Thursday schedule from 8:00am to 4:00pm, with Fridays split between 8:30am-12:30pm for telehealth (remote or in-clinic) and 12:30pm-4:00pm (remote or in-clinic). You will provide essential primary care services, including FQHC basics, addressing multiple complaints per visit, and managing a diverse patient population ranging from acute illnesses to chronic conditions and preventative care.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care services within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects.
  • Manage patient encounters, often involving three or more complaints per visit.
  • Treat a wide range of cases including cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, homeless care, LQBTQ care, and conduct annual check-ups typical of FQHC primary care.
