Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician Assistant for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting May 18, 2026. This role involves working 8:30 AM to 5 PM shifts, providing primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects, and managing multiple patient complaints per visit. The successful candidate will see mostly adult patients but must be able to treat all ages, with a strong emphasis on Spanish-speaking individuals, performing minimal primary care procedures.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care within an FQHC environment, addressing rural health aspects.
  • Manage a patient panel that may include multiple complaints per visit.
  • Serve a diverse patient population, seeing mostly adults but also all ages.
  • Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking patients.
  • Perform minimal primary care procedures.
