Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant to join our client's team in California, starting Jun 22, 2026. This 60-day assignment involves a Monday through Thursday schedule with telehealth options on Fridays. The Physician Assistant will be responsible for primary care within an FQHC setting, addressing rural health aspects, and managing diverse patient complaints.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide primary care within an FQHC setting, including rural health aspects.
  • Manage diverse patient complaints, potentially three or more per visit.
  • Address cases such as cold, cough, flu, hypertension, diabetes, homeless care, LGBTQ care, and perform annual check-ups typical of an FQHC PC setting.
  • Work Monday through Thursday from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Conduct Friday telehealth from 8:30am to 12:30pm, with the option for remote or in-clinic work until 4:00pm.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Family Medicine required.
