Job Description

We are seeking a Family Practice Physician Assistant for our client in Pennsylvania, starting Jul 6, 2026. This 60-day assignment involves daily shifts from 7:30am to 4pm, where you will manage 'sick call', conduct patient rounds, and oversee chronic and preventative care procedures, including trauma triage, charting, and medication refills.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage 'sick call' and conduct patient rounds.
  • Perform chronic and preventative care procedures and follow-ups.
  • Operate preventative care clinics.
  • Handle infirmary rounds for internal medicine cases as needed.
  • Conduct trauma triage.
  • Complete charting notes.
  • Manage medication refills.
  • Assist with PA/NP lines in the morning, including suture removal and follow-ups.
  • Address medication non-compliance with patients.
  • See general primary care cases.
  • Manage chronic care cases such as asthma, hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia.
  • Conduct preventative care cases, including annual physical exams.
  • Address acute conditions like runny nose, headaches, and back pain.


Additional Information

  • Daily shift: 7:30am - 4pm
  • Physicals to be completed within 14 days of intake.
  • Required to complete pap smears.
  • Male providers will have a female nurse with them at all times.
  • Ability to perform sutures and splinting is a plus, not required.
