Locum Tenens Physician - Family Practice Needed in AZ

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Family Practice Physician for a 52-day assignment starting Jun 8, 2026, in Arizona. The Physician will be responsible for providing direct and indirect medical care to meet patient healthcare needs, managing typical urgent care and family practice cases, and performing basic procedures. The schedule is 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility
• Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens
• Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment
• Respond to and initiate care for medical emergencies throughout the facility
• Coordinate, lead and participate in educational and training activities related to medical care for patients

• EMR System: TechCare
• Case types: Typical urgent care and family practice cases, including minor injuries, infections, some suturing, and basic procedures like I&Ds
