Job Description
Our client in GA is actively seeking an experienced Physician Assistant - Surgery - General to join their team for a 91-day assignment, commencing Aug 3, 2026. In this role, you will be crucial in assisting surgeons during a wide range of surgical cases across multiple specialties, managing approximately 10 patient encounters per shift, primarily focusing on scheduled non-urgent procedures, and adhering to a 7:30-4:30 daily schedule.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist surgeons in the operating room on surgical cases across multiple specialties.
- Collaborate with supporting staff including surgeons, scrub technicians, circulating RNs, and CRNAs.
- Manage approximately 10 patient encounters per shift, primarily involving scheduled non-urgent procedures.
- Prioritize general surgery cases, with additional support needed for Orthopedics, Ob/Gyn, Urology, and ENT.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in General Surgery is required.
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred.
